CAROL TAYLOR BOOKS
The DEVASTATOR Series!
The Author
In the summer of 1996, Carol Taylor became the news director for KBHB Radio, a 5-state country & western station in Sturgis, South Dakota. In September, disc jockeys were announcing all the prime color-watching spots throughout the Black Hills for shutterbugs and other nature lovers. By Halloween, their stories had shifted to the ferocity of weekly blizzards. These storms were beginning to destroy animals and livelihoods all across the KBHB listening area--trumping all other news.

Coming from a farm and ranch background herself, Taylor went into crisis mode like everyone else, getting vital information on the air so that listeners could plan and prepare for the next storm..and the next. Soon, the entire nation knew about this historic winter in the making, with people from as far away as Pennsylvania wanting to help.

In addition to her career as a news writer, Taylor has published dozens of feature articles in Weight Watchers Magazine, Farm & Ranch Living, God's World Today, Western Livestock Reporter, and Good Housekeeping.
